You can get a refurbished PS3 for a $100 bucks or less now. Banning the knuckle heads is nothing more than a slight inconvenience to them.

Creating a new account cost you nothing.Woman Happy

Many of those who do this are also big Home spenders. I know someone who spent thousands in Japan and her account was permabanned recently. Obviously she wasn't happy about it and does have a new account now.

weird. it seems to me like Sony is tying to push people out of Japan home so it will be easier to shut down.

Well the stopping of the publishing of new content can't bode well for Japan Home being around long term. Pretty sad.

Does this also mean... If I had 2 PS3's with me, one on Japan, the other on NA.

I invited Japan to get some exclusive NA rewards that aren't available in Japan.

Does that mean my Japan account will be banned?

Items that aren't region locked and acquired through legal visits should be fine.

Why haven't they done something by now to make sure items can't be obtained in an unauthorized way in the first place?

I see people saying what ISE store thing is a glitch and that it not theft, because sony allow this go on. I never tried it and never will. I don’t care what people say because if din’t earn the reward or paid for item and that is simple it’s called theft and doing so you deserve to ban. If someone spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on home and they did ISE store thing to get lets say free tee  then they deserve to be ban because its called theft. So for people saying that ban not fair etc why is that not fair for?

I think that it would be best for Sony to simply delete the manual configuration part of the DNS feature. At least to the public. That would be THE solution to everything, unless someone can tell otherwise.

Simple. Self serving one's interests, either side of the fence.

Those with ISEobviously don't want to be banned and will try and find a way to rationalize what they do or belittle their critics. Equally, anyone without it that doesn't like the idea of people not paying (or paying the right people) for goods to keep their beloved Home profitable is going to want these people banned.

Jersquall: Any new news on Home on PS4 yet?

Tempest_Fire: Due to a shifting landscape, PlayStation Home will cease publishing new content on November 12, 2014.

Good luck trying that in the NA region, I think half of the people who use NA PS Home regularly have ISE items to some degree.
