I am curious to know if theres any updates on whether the amount of slots for furniture items will increase. The amount of personal spaces being sold on home that are larger in size is increasing ... i.e Blueprint Home, Avalon Keep and the new Lockwood Dream Island. I dont see how this isnt possible being that ur funiture is saved to ur HDD and not on Sony's servers. Oh, not to mention the LOOT TV's that take 26 spaces (including wall mount or tv stand). So Sony? .... Whats the 411?
They increased the limit from 50 to 100, but I agree with you that it should be raised again. The Dream Island space and the MAG faction spaces are enough to see that the limit needs to be raised. Those space are massive.
What I think they should do is, they should raise the limit to 150, but make it so that duplicates of furniture items each share 1 slot. For example, if you set up 3 harbor studio chairs and 2 harbor studio sofas, that's 5 items total, but collectively they'd only take up 2 slots.
And this time, fix the active items so they take up less slots, don't just raise the slot count to support more of them. 22 slots for 1 active item? Lower it down to 10, a nice round number. And what's with the Free Loot TV taking up 25 slots? Where did the extra 3 come from?
EDIT: Another thing they should do is make the Active Items independent of the normal items. If they want to limit the active items because they could potentially cause lag or crashing, then set the limit to 5 Active items per space, but give them their own slots that don't clash with the normal item slots. This, plus raising the normal item limit to 150 or 200 would be great.
Thanks to nDreams and the new Xi, my PS3 froze during Xi's download process and put me in a perpetual loop of file restorations every time I start up my PS3. I can no longer play Playstation Home or any of my PS3 games. 600+ dollars spent on Home content, down the ****ing drain. I'm done with Playstation Home, I'm done with Sony, and I'm done with this site, as my current PS3 situation no longer warrants my being here. Bye everyone.
