IGN WRITER IN HOME

35 replies 494 views Edited Dec 10, 2012

A writer from IGN has been in Home for the past 5 days, visiting public spaces, trying the games, and going as much in-depth on the Home experience as he had time for.  We met by accident in the Casino VIP Room and I offered to show him some personal spaces and Club skins.  We spent more than an hour visiting a cross section of spaces.  I was delighted to see the article this morning when he sent me the link to it.   I added my own comment in IGN for that article saying I was glad we got a fair shake this time.  Here is the link he sent me:

I hope you will also add comments to his article to let IGN know that we are glad to see some positive coverage for Home.

Nice to see some nice coverage for a change. Most of us who use this application know how wonderful it can be. Thank you for sharing this Keara!

I've never liked IGN.

The writer was weak for using the word "gay". Really? But that's IGN for you in a nutshell.

So un-professional.

Well it's a blog and not written by a staff writer. Still positive overall which is refreshing.

I personally really liked the article that was written. I have no complaints about it and hope he or those from other websites will do this again sometime. This type of exposure is good for Home.

Best thing that will happen?
Sony goes "Oh? We have a virtual reality? Where did that come from?" and focus more on it.

i saw a few mistakes that he made that could confuse people.  1: he said that personal spaces seem to have no limit on who can be invited.  most of us know they do have a cap.  personal spaces at 11 and clubs at 31 if i remember correctly.  2: he did not differentiate between the clubs and personal spaces.  clubs are the ones that use differnt skins over the basic club house, while each personal space are completely seperate spaces.

if someone could, please repost this in the comments of the article, it would be greatyl appreaciated.  really dont want to create an account just for one comment
