Being in a group chat allows for headsets, right? So...someone could create a group where the host plays a style of music all day and everyone who joins can listen to is as if it's a raidio.
How many people can be part of a group chat?
It's only 8 that's allowed in group chat at once, and if you got a big friend circle..it makes it sometimes difficult, to say the least.
Clubs work better.
My room is filled with lots of electronic stuff i think of myself as a Geek/Nerd/Loser lol. Heres how i got my room set up: In a Corner i got a huge plasma screen TV hanging from the wall and i have a glass display with my ps3 on it and my 250$ DVD Player.. and a huge surround sound set thats a lot of money and then to the tv Rights i have a Game display where i putmy games and such in there. and to my tvs left i have a computer and on top of the Computer not the moniter screen. the computer i have a sony radio that i can play my iPod music on.. and to my Computers left i have a DJ Set.. Lets just say i have a big room but most of these items take up the space xD
But what if we want others to hear? >.>
If other people want to hear the music, they have to buy their own Ipod.

I agree that it would be nice to be able to play music from our hard drive in Home. It would also be nice to be able to plug an iPod or Sony MP3 player into our PS3 and stream music.
It's not like it isn't technically feasible. I can buy a Sony branded clock radio at the drug store for $20 that has an iPod dock and works fine. The problem has to be related to licensing fees for broadcasting the music to certain mumbers of people. I don't know how royalties work, but there must be rules about how many people you can broadcast to before royalties have to be paid.
I think you're asking for something that would be at the top of most Home user's wish list.
[Edit] Just checked the fees for the Live365 streaming service and found that they charge $5.95 a month to broadcast to 3 listeners, and $99.95 a month to broadcast up to 100 listeners. Live365 pays the royalty fees from your monthly fee.
So if we do ever get the ability to stream to friends in private spaces or clubs we'll most likely have to pay for it so that artists get paid their royalties.
