i think it just brings up a box saying this will remove the item to use the item

so then it's just like the other one? That's a shame. It would be really handy to be able to set up a camera in a certain position to do time lapse on evolving items, or to do a stop motion animation type of thing.

you can take pics with a capture card though

It would be nice if the new camera's were able to capture video directly to your PS3 - but I would have to think it would eat up a lot of your hard drive space.

 

I don't own a capture card - but if anyone does - how "big" is a video?

a vid can reach way into the GB so this isnt for the people with low memory

I don't know. Sounds pretty bogus to me. I bought the package expecting to be able to record like with the still camera, only in motion. Hopefully this will be incorporated at a later date. I reviewed the recording set up linked to in this post. Didn't like it. I would like to move away a rats nest of wires behind my entertainment center. Is there an HDMI solution to this? One cable one box solution? I bet most people who bought the Loot package expected to be able to record video inside of Home without the extra attachments and any connection to the computer.
