Sony really needs to think before they act. Yesterday I went to purchase some clothing and furnishings from the Home mall. Now I felt 49¢ for shirts were reasonable but now 1.99? I couldn't believe when I saw this today. 2 bucks for virtual clothing. I thought this was great but now I believe Sony should charge a flat service fee for using their network. Sony is thinking people would buy a 2 dollar fee just to download an article of clothing? Plus look at the timing CHRISTMAS TIME!!! Customers are going to fathom the ideal when the price just triple it's original price. You figure 5 article s of clothing is $10 is that really worth dressing your avatar? That $10 dollars can go to a purchase to a Christmas dinner or gift to a love one! It's not about being cheap either because I have purchase clothing and furnishings for my avatar and pad! I didn't think 49¢ was a bad price to pay for clothing! If Sony preaches Free Service free Home but to take advantage of Home then it will cost you! Plus as I am concerned this is a BETA so Sony shouldn't expect customers to pay high prices for DLC. I got off work and was looking to buy new items for my avatar but 1.99 is just a kick in the face!

I just checked out the $1.99 stuff for the first time. The clothes are definitely not worth it. The stuff for free and for 49 cents is just as good, if not better. Some of the furniture is cool though. I don't know if I'm willing to spend $1.99 for it though.

Not this again! Prices were not raised. Content that was .49 yesterday is still .49 today. Only branded items are $1.99, these items are new not the same items with a jacked up price. Geeze do people complain like this about game add ons? I didn't hear a big uproar when they started selling characters for pain at $2.00 a pop. Or when they started selling new maps for MGO for much more than that, and people not only paid for the new content but also paid for the original game. We got home for free and the content is cheaper than normal game add ons and totally optional.
