Re: Granzella Fossil Collection and Guide

Oct 29, 2012

Thanks to the girl on the 27th, she gave me one 2-in-1 fossil to complete my Anomolacaris collection so I've updated this guide with a completed picture of that display, but since the guys been back have found nothing again. I'm still trying to find my last fish piece which would hopefully complete everything I need from the paid digging site, but all my M clods seem to contain are more spiders.

Aaaanyway, here is a cut of the update for Amonolacirs display:

ANOMALOCARIS

Fossils Amomalocaris.jpg

1.     Anomalocaris Fragment I  (3) (L)

2.     Anomalocaris Fragment II (3) (L)

3.     Anomalocaris Fragment III (3) (L)

4.     Anomalocaris Fragment IV  (3) (L)

7 more to find...

Here's my results so far:

09/17/12: appraised 115 fossils

  • 1st fossil: really promising extra-large, 2nd fossil: large
  • 1st fossil: slighly promising medium, 2nd fossil: medium

09/27/12: appraised 115 fossils

  • 1st fossil: pretty average large, 2nd fossil: medium
  • 1st fossil: really promising, extra-large, 2nd fossil: large
  • 1st fossil: really promising large, 2nd fossil: extra-large

 10/07/12: appraised 115 fossils:

  • no 2-in-1 fossils

10/17/12: appraised 127 fossils

  • no 2-in-1 fossils

10/27/12:

appraised 115 fossils:

  • no 2-in-1 fossils

Once again I had no luck with 2-in-1 fossils with the Mysterious Beauty. However I finally found a mammoth skull, completing that fossil. That just leaves the Irish Elk unfinished on the first floor.

I'm ready to give up. Spent the rest of October taking a break because this was beginning to frustrate me. Then I proceed to get kicked out of a paid dig losing BOTH a ticket and a dig. And with only 17 tickets left, I'm going to run out for sure before the girl next appears, so if I don't get the paid site clear message then... Smiley Sad

I've been a bit side tracked with xmb gaming the last couple weeks and haven't been doing my fossils hunting quite as religiously but I do plan to finish. Would be nice if you got the "found all in the pay site" message. Hope you do soon.

Sadly I got nothing new from the lady this past go around. Smiley Sad

Just gave the girl a week's worth of stuff....

On the plus side: Got a starfish fragment and the Mammoth Skull... now if I could get the Mammoth Chest, I'd not only be done with the Mammoth, but XL clods, as well.

Downside? Out of tickets, paid site still incomplete, and now Super Tropical Points are useless to me. Sigh.

Sorry Wave. Smiley Sad

I just gave her 75 clods and got absolutely nothing new. Still stuck at 151/175. Grr.

A bit off topic, but are they no longer allowing us to find treasures in the water?  I looked earlier and found nothing but the swimming option, and no treasure there either.

Did you make sure to check everywhere in the water? Sometimes they can be hard to spot.

Also, if you were there at a 15 minute interval (:00, :15, :30, :45), theres a chance the treasure and its location changed on you.

I was at the table next to you and didn't have much better luck.  Went 1 for 70 and got one new fossil.  Elk hind legs and no 2 in 1 clods again for third time in a row with the girl.  Man is she getting cheap or what?

I thought I did.  I must have just missed it somehow.
