It's been a couple weeks since our millionaires have been fitted with their penthouse suites and through your feedback we have made a few changes to the space. First, in relation to the title of this post, we've made the bed comfy enough to lie down on. Now you and a friend (or someone who's more than friends ) can lounge on the bed. Just remember, what happens in The Penthouse, stays in The Penthouse.
Next, we've remodeled the balcony to let you see the skyline a lot better. Instead of concrete we've made the walls glass. Now you and your guests can enjoy the fresh air and the view at the same time.
And lastly we are giving you the ability to hang your Digital Leisure clothes in your closet. Any outfit (or leaderboard jacket) that you aquire at The Casino will be hung up in the closet behind your bed. It will automatically update once you have the outfit in your inventory, and it will change whether you are male or female. The outfits include the ones that are given as rewards, and the ones you can get in the gift shop.
This update will be going live on the 14th of November, so you still have time to fill your closets.
I totally LOVE the Closet enhancement! Especially as it pertains to the Leaderboard jackets, now you can display them as "trophies" as opposed to clothing items hidden away. But more importantly -- the closet working LIKE a closet makes this personal space act closer to a real life home.
I should let everyone know that ALL these Penthouse updates were a result of comments and ideas from people who took the Penthouse tour! And even one or two forum regulars! :-)
This is great - I don't know many Home devs who would invest the time to upgrade a personal space they give away as a reward!
I had a sneaky suspicion that you'd approve of the closet ... but can't for the life of me figure out why! :-D
I wish I had the motivation to try and earn a million. I just don't have it these days. It's awesome though that they are listening and I know they get great advice from a couple of Home users in particular.
Very smart developers.
