Yeah I noticed this too. I've lost quite a lot of posts and kudos. Haven't noticed anything else yet.

I am getting    Access Denied message on earlier threads in my Feedly reader.indexmugabe.jpg    No it is actually "This message is not available right now"    They look simillar especially this early in the morning.  Either way it is scary looking page that is blank and makes you wonder if you did something wrong.

All my sent/received pms are intact. My Forum rank is too. I do not really track my post or kudos counts closely so I am not sure about those. However I think my post count is either correct or very close. We have seen this Forum data loss before. As I recall, the last time was about a year ago when the Forums changed service providers. I lost about 200 posts on that one and was permanently moved back a rank, lol ! So it goes in the digital world on other peoples servers. Beware of the Cloud! I prefer my own secure backups, but hey, what can we do?

EDIT: On second thought, I recently leveled up in Forum rank labels. My post count was reset to the exact number when I leveled up. So, yup, lost posts and kudos too. Oh well. It is the the loss of Home rewards and purchases which gets me upset. However, I have come to expect it, after all, it happens all too often.

The maintanence downtime was HUGE. Since there was data loss, and no prior announcement,I assume they had a server crash. Just think, our money is only as good as a valid digital save on a server too.

Free service comes at a price.

Jersquall: Any new news on Home on PS4 yet?

Tempest_Fire: Due to a shifting landscape, PlayStation Home will cease publishing new content on November 12, 2014.

I did notice I was getting more than one post count on the same thread if I made another comment.  Isnt it supposed to be one post count per thread even if more than one post is made on same thread?

Thanks site wizards ...for using the 'litter box' philosophy to update this forum. It was well needed. Now please lock threads that should be closed.

These things happen, for those that may have lost a Original Post you could always back those up on your computer, host your pictures or signautres on Photobucket or have your own free server.  I do this incase something like this happens.  I host all pictures and even certain words that are to be there for a reason incase this happens.  Just something to think about for the future.
