I actually agree with you on this point.  I've been saying it in one form or another for a long time.  But you can't blame Granzella or SCEA for that.  Good luck getting people to change their spending habits.

Well it is interesting though how Dream Island was released in advance of the "Hot Beach 4 Two". Seems the schedule was moved up given the apartment wasn't supposed to release until next week at the earliest.

One has to wonder about the timing especially given the fact that Dream Island does have some obvious bugs that appear to have gotten past quality assurance. With Lockwood we know they are going to fix any bugs but it does appear that Granzella at least does make an effort when bugs are found to fix them before knowingly releasing a space.

I purchased the private space in Japan and will be buying it again here. I haven't gotten Dream Island quite yet although I suspect I'll be getting it soon. There is an awful lot of content coming and I'm not sure how much of it I want to get at one time.

I'm certainly getting the Museum and Granzella's private beach space. I did get the Loot EOD bundle this morning and I'll be looking at much of the clothes that Granzella releases hopefully in September.

It's awesome to see developers like Lockwood do things that are competing with developers like Granzella however. If I'm not mistaken Lockwood has stated on the EU forum that they may be looking into Day/Night options for the space as well.

couple of weeks? we have to wait over 2 months for the Fossil Museum.

Granzella first said we would get it late August, but they recently said sometime in September. it came out on July 18 for EU.

I was speaking specifically about the beach space which should be in NA in a couple weeks, I thought.

If the Fossil Museum is still not ready for NA, then I suppose Granzella will release it when it is.  They know that NA represents a huge, profitable market.  I doubt that they're holding it back just to be stubborn or deprive anyone.  If it was released full of flaws, they would get hammered here for that.  From everything I hear, this Kujo fellow at Granzella is quite the perfectionist and won't be pressured by anyone into releasing material until he's satisfied.  I'm more annoyed about his petulant whining that may apparently result in the patching of the Telepad glitch.  I'm sure the folks at Lockwood are overjoyed to be forced to modify their popular product to suit his needs.

For me personally, 2 weeks or 2 months makes no difference.  I've only purchased 2-3 personal spaces across 3 regions in the past year and have no intention of gathering fossils.  My condolences to everyone who is so painfully distraught from lacking a display facility for their virtual fossil collection.  Besides, who should be more patient than a fossil collector?  It takes millions of years just to create the bloody things, after all.

ready for NA? what could possibly have to be done for it to be ready?

its already translated into English. pretty much all they have to do is change prices, and that will take a few minutes at the most.

theres obviously something other than "it not being ready" holding back its release, and whatever the issue is EU didnt have it, so why does NA?

i dont mean to be "that person", but its somewhat annoying when someone says waiting is no big deal and tells people to be patient when in fact they dont care about the thing people are waiting for.

Well, obviously I have no idea.  A Granzella rep would be the one to answer that question if he/she was inclined to do so.  I know that Granzella's spaces were pulled down from Japan for repairs and the EU spaces have had issues.  Maybe they're trying to make sure that NA operates properly before release.

I understand what you're saying there.  I actually considered that point while I was typing my comment.  Just because I'm not interested in the Fossil Museum doesn't mean that I haven't had to wait patiently for other spaces to appear in whatever region over the years.  There's just really no point in complaining about which region gets what and when.

NA users never had the chance to win the awesome Iron Man outfit or obtain a voucher for the Rare Gold PS3.  EU doesn't even have operational picture frames.  Japan had to wait for Lockwood to release the Dream Yacht.  EU had to wait for the Mansion and the Casino.  NA does not have the PS+ Lounge and EU does not have X7.  We could go round and round on this topic ad infinitum.

I just can't get too worked up about the topic.  NA will get the Glittering Sands and Fossil Museum when Granzella is set to release them to the region.  In the meantime, enjoy the Dream Island a week early.

Re: Enough is enough with the EU Granzella releases

[ Edited ]

Well well well...looks like it's time to revive this topic. You know, I actually had a bit of fatih in whoever was involved there for a second. For a couple of weeks we were getting simultanious releases.

Now it's back to EU getting HUGE Granzella updates while we get nothing. And now the "barren desert of the wastes of time" that is Asia Home gets stuff before us?! What is this 2009?!

No really, this is beyond stupid, for all the reasons I stated in my previous posts, and check page 3 for my reasons why we should not be "greatful" for all the other garbage we are being peddled in NA.

So let's examine this week shall we? EU gets 3 new lines of clothing, while we only get ONE of those! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THOSE SUITS FOR MONTHS! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WE AREN'T GETTING THEM!  You can say what you want about things like public spaces and LMO items having glitches and thus "justifying" the delay, but for CLOTHES there is ABSOLUTELY NO VALID EXCUSE FOR NON-SYNCHRONIZED RELEASES!

Why are we only getting the freaking yukatas?! WE HAVE ENOUGH OF THOSE!

In addition to this, we still aren't getting the roller skates OR the teahouse!

So I guess it's time for me to take another long hiatus from home again like back in July to September. October caused me to spend alot due to the Halloween stuff, and the first few weeks had simultanious Gz releases. But now it looks like it's time to spend my money elsewhere. As far as the money left in my wallet and my $20.00 refund coming, I can spend it on games, though I already bought 2 that will keep me occupied for the rest of the month, at least.

I may be going on JP home if there's anything really good, but I don't even feel like doing that. The teahouse pretty much killed my drive for home, but their comment of an "early November" release gave me the slight glimmer of hope to hang on to, enought to check what's coming this week. But once again, SCEE, SCEA and Granzella like nothing more to enrage me and prompt me to take my business elsewhere. Not to M$ or Craptendo (Nintendo also prioritizes EU with their classic games) but there's plenty of other places to spend money.

I was about to forgive them for the initial delays back  in July and August, but now we are RIGHT back there again! There is no excuse at this point, especially since for a while we were reciving synchronized releases!

So yeah, I'm not even going on for "dailies" at this point. My fossils can just rot there. I don't care anymore. Wake me, and my wallet up, when we are caught up with EU again.

I once again suggest people boycotting purchases in NA and staying off EU and Asia all together, but these suggestions always fall on deaf ears, and I even have a friend that buys stuff each week regardless. Most of my friends don't buy anything unless there's a good GZ release, or something really amazing like Ghost Stories.

But I still think if enough of the big spenders were to boycott purchases and make sure that SCEA and SCEE knows why, they might get GZ to release in NA first or synchronized with EU. I still have yet to recieve a clear answer to who's at fault for this, as each side blames the other, so I'll just blame all 3!

So yeah, goodbye for the next couple of months until we are caught up again. Have "fun" with crap like Uproar, HGL, Terminator 2 , and "DA MALE ONLY SHADOWS COLLECTION YO!" Smiley Indifferent

*signs out and deletes cookies*

FYI, for all the trolls and SCEA/SCEE supporters, don't waste your time responding to me, as I won't be looking at or responding, just like when I initially made this topic. I've already made my points on why this whole situation is BS.

I think it has more to do with SCEA sceduling that Granzella at this point. I can't believe the skates are fine for Asia and not for North America. Seems this may continue for awhile. And the teahouse would have been a nice addition this week as well.

I was really looking forward to the Loco items.

I suppose my pocket book will take a break. I'll wait see what the Blog has to offer although lately most of what I buy is from Granzella.

I'm sorry I couldn't hear all that ranting over the sound of my Granzella suit rustling in the wind! Smiley Happy

Jersquall: Any new news on Home on PS4 yet?

Tempest_Fire: Due to a shifting landscape, PlayStation Home will cease publishing new content on November 12, 2014.

I fell netural at this even though I want the Skates to come to NA so bad, I fell like Asia should get so some stuff before us, and we always gets stuff before Asia.

I actually agree, though most of us are Granzella hungry for items.

It's nice to see HK, which is usually last on the list for most things. To get something, before we do.

By the way, a few months back.

Lockwood was releasing hairstyles in HK, that hadn't even made it to their Home server EU or NA yet.

By mooches you mean people, and all Home regions are open to everyone even if you don't live in that region in my opionion.
