Home is a beta testing ground,of course a lot of not well known companies come to test their wings, but I bet on occasion, they get ideas from " established" companies. I am glad anyone does work on home, it is very creative, and I hope it will always be around in some form

Indie means independant. Some companies in Home are I suppose (like Atom Republic, Game Mechanics, etc.), whilst others like LOOT, are actually divisions of Sony, which I suppose would cancel out the whole independant part. We have had devs like Konami, SquareEnix, and a ton more that are doing there own thing but can't really be called indie either, because they are huge companies in their own right and have been established for years even before Home.
