Well it may be true, Capcom stopped caring for the NA home server, JP Home seems to get some nice things from Capcom. I also would'nt say they don't care because there was a lot of Investment in the Development of Resident evil 6 just to put great features and have us be more interactive with the game aswell (Resedentevil.net) so I would'nt say they don't care entirely.

I'd buy the Rebellion if they were to put it out, as that's one of the only things from the original DMC games that isn't completely ruined at first glance (Unless you're actually playing the game and realize it's become an autobot.)
