Digital Leisure's Casino Suggestions

6 replies 146 views Edited Feb 12, 2013

I posted this on their twitter account, and thought I'd post it here as well since I'm not limited to the 124 character limit of twitter.

It would be really nice if there was a way to earn tokens in the casino playing all the games that  you could exchange for chips. Such as:

Earn 100 tokens = 50chips  or something similar to that.

Currently the free 100chips you get a week don't last long in the casino at all. And some games like Texas Hold Em, require a minimum of 500chips just to play.

Earning free tokens to exchange for chips would be a much better solution then the current setup, and it would bring more people into the casino for sure.

Also there needs to be some other form of  reward for spending real money on chips such as getting an increased amount of chips per week. Such as: you buy 500 chips for .99cents and instead of getting 100 chips a week you get 600 chips each Monday for a month.

This would at least be some form of reward for spending real money, as currently your just spending money on the privileged to gamble in a virtual reality. Why wouldn't you just take your real money, and really go gambling then at a real casino.

There has to be some form of incentive for spending real money, and right now that benefit is not enough.

Offer more casino games, unique items, extra chips a month, access to beta, discounts on items, free items etc.

The more inclusive you are for people who play the Casino in PSHome the better you'll do as a company.

They've figured out it's in their best interest to cater to the minority who spend lots of time and money at the casino, hence additions like the high rollers room.

You're right though, it's better to take your business to an actual online casino. At least their odds/payouts are statistically accurate.

Home won't last forever. A couple of years or 5 years is pretty soon if you think about it. I buy an outfit I can wear til the day it closes others are welcome to blow their paycheck on a chance to win items. Whatever keeps them happy

Sony has committed itself to Home. Millions of dollars have been invested into Home by Developers and users alike. Despite the wishful thinking, Home will be around for a very long time.

They're not going to increase the chips, the point of them giving you 100 chips is to give you incentive to want to buy more for the other games that require more.

Also, playing in the casino concourse does have advantages. Their are exclusive rewards, interaction between other players, leaderboards, and digital leisure often give high ranking players good benefits.
