Re: Did u Find Real Love on Home ?

Aug 18, 2013

Normal is non-existant, theres no such thing as "normal" in this world

As far as finding love in real life or online, its all a matter of choice.

If you prefer real life. Fine

If you prefer online. Fine

"Whatever floats your boat" as they say.

Re: Did u Find Real Love on Home ?

I think you can find love anywhere, if you're mature and sure of yourself.

As well as the person you're seeking interest in.

There's a lot of people that may doubt finding love on PlayStation Home, because they see home as just something to have fun with.

And sure, they may be right. Though, I don't think there's anything wrong with finding happiness even if it's through a tv.

I've been dating my boyfriend since March, and we've talked many times about meeting in the real world someday.

Plus, I just don't see him as some home relationship.

We've took our communications outside of home, which is why I think we've lasted this long.

Hey everyone. I want to share something with you.

I have heard a LOT of people say "I dont get online relationships. It's just the internet. It's just a game. It's not real."

Believe it or not, there is a whole psychology behind this and why people do it. I saw Life 2.0 a couple years ago. It's a documentary based on the world of Second Life and those who use it. Very much like how we use and interact with PlayStation Home. If you have nothing better to do, sit down and watch this. Consider it an educational movie experience while you eat your dinner. Hopefully it will provide some insight as to why some of us prefer online lives and relationships.

Maybe it will change your opinion and point of view. It changed mine.  ^_^

I'm sorry...but i find it disgusting and weird to look for love on a social network.

I take issue with this. Dont you realize that you are interacting with real human beings. So what if its online? I video chat with my playstation friends all the time, 2 of whom are in a real relationship even though they live far apart. Hey, this an outlet for people who dont have the same options as you do maybe. Stop judging.

LOL...That's great...but I and yes I like to interact with people I can see for myself...and leave my house to actually get the feel of real life outside of a virtual world....plus video chat is a HORRIBLE excuse...

Since when is being NORMAL bad?

Normal is bad, TD. It's boring as well.

Btw, You're online all the time?.....always on Home. So how....How are you chatting with outside world unless they are all visiting you?

- from your own friend, King

KIng...you really need to pay attention to the days of the week...and the time I sign on

Like today Saturday [who goes out saturday morning] 10:00 i signed on [Looking for photos for contest] 1:00 [Signs off to go shopping] 5:00 [Signs back on]

NOW...lets get back to the topic...King...how many girls have you hit on, dating, and broke up with since you started home?

Gee, I don't know...a lot...I hit on like 6 today (sorry if you're reading this)

And the timing is wrong..you only left for 30 minutes.

Another thing I'm trying to prove to you is, love can be found through home. You have real life gf, I know, but seriously, kinda rude.

Read this whole thread.  Me before.

30 Minutes?...king stahp trying to stalk your friends list...you're bad at it.....and

6 today...you're scaring the crap out of me right now

I know where youre going with this, and yes...but we keep it mostly in private. Group, club or pm's. No need to flaunt it to the world. Were not Brad and Angelina Jolie. LOL. Those who know us, know we love eachother. We dont feel the need to advertise it.

Love can happen anywhere.  I didn't go looking for it on home, that just happens to be where I found it.  Its not exclusive to home either, we're hardly ever on there anymore.  We talk all day every day and have every intention of being together when the time is right.  Its just like finding it anywhere else online, just with avatars.  So yeah, its possible.  At least in my experience.

Re: Did u Find Real Love on Home ?

I've never found love on Home or any other online game I've ever played in the past 10 years. But I also never looked for it either. But I don't think it's weird or anything. In fact one of my best friends on Home met a woman and became a Home couple a little over a year ago. They interacted on Facebook after meeting on Home, so they knew they were attracted to each other. And they both live on opposite sides of the country. But they just met in real life for the first time this week. He took a plane to where she lives and they're finally together person to person. They sent me a msg saying everything is going great and they are so happy to finally be together. I'm so happy for them too. Man Very Happy

E-Harmony and all those other dating sites can suck it. They expect you to pay them to find love. If I wanted to pay for love I'd hire a prostitute.

As far as finding love on PS Home.. Yes I have, we've been together for nearly 2 years and still going strong, On Home she's my wife, but in real life she's my GF ( working progress, lol )

Pay no mind to the arrogant hypocrites. Of course PS Home isn't E-Harmony or those other sites, its better, cause with PS Home you DON'T have to pay to find true love.

LOL there are free sites too ya know?
