Here's a few things I've noticed about the new No-Limit tournament play:
Blinds go up every 6 hands.
Blind rounds are:
Chips are colored up after every 3rd blind raise (25/50 and 100/200).
If your chips can not be evenly colored up you will forfeit the extra chips. For example: If you have 910 chips when it is colored up at 25/50 you will start the next round with only 900 chips.
Even though it doesn't show these options they are still there.
Square button: Fold (press X to confirm)
Circle button: All In (press X to confirm or Left D-Pad to decrease bet)
The more I play the Brimstone Poker the less I like it. It's not nearly as user friendly as the tables from EA were. For the people who don't know how to play it may be overwhelming enough to stop them from learning. If you're not that familiar with the rules and terminology of Texas Hold 'Em you might get pretty mad when your chips disappear and the only clue as to where they've gone is 2 words that only show up at most once in every 156 lines of text. Not to mention that they don't even tell you what buttons to press for key features in the game.
Playing on these tables is a lot more like playing in a casino than EA's were, but I'm not sure that is such a good thing in an environment such as Home.
The guide is now up to date with everything I know, I think.
I went ahead and added a new section just on the No-Limit game. I figure most people won't want to read through both parts if they only want to play one. There may be an error or two that I've missed because it's getting late. I will double check again this weekend just to make sure. If you happen to see anything that needs fixed please let me know. Thank you all, and I hope it helps you.
Thxz for telling what to win.But it will take awhile for all of them. I only have the glasses , shirt you get for buying table. almost hand visor but lost. The prizes will be challenging to get but I'll try! >=)
Kram, please don't flame me for this, but, after playing many games on the Brimstone table, it is just not the same as the fun of playing on the EA Sports Center tables. It is like giving tomato juice to a vampire - looks terrific but the hunger is still there. I really appreciate all the work you put into the Guide, and, if the EA poker rooms never come back, the Brimstone tables offer a viable alternative to the Godfather poker tables. BUT (and, yes, I have a big Big BUT) without a way to accumulate a bankroll, work my way up the leader board, and pack the Club Room with hundreds of poker pals at the same time, it is just not the same.
I know everyone is tired of hearing this whine, so I will go sharpen my incisors elsewhere - and wait for Sookie to come out for a bite.
Edit: Since the thread has run its course it will now be locked.
