I agree that the items for sale in home are ridiculously overpriced. Let's boycott the items!

If things keep going the way they're going, what we'd have to do is make a collective agreement to curb our spending for a while. The only real way to show that we're not willing to pay these prices is to not pay them at all. This is a beta, so I'd imagine Sony is going to keep upping the lever seeing where the breaking point is. It's up to us decide when that point is.

Im for the boycott I will no longer purchase items in Home (Unless its Gundam related) until they lower the prices.

We can stand in the mall and say stuff like "Dont spend $ until they lower the prices"

Hopefully people will know that we are taking action and might join our cause.

The prices of furniture and clothing in Home has skyrocketed.  Before, all the new clothing was 49 cents.  Now, you find yourself paying 99 cents to $1.99 for everthing you buy.  For example, why does neon furniture cost $1.99? Sure it looks cool, but does it really cost Sony any more money to have someone develop than a normal piece of furniture?  For a $1.99, I could buy something in my real life.  If the prices of items were lowered, more than twice the number of people would buy them, so why does Sony feel the need to raise them?  Please Sony, lower the prices of your animated items.  I would have bought all of the shirts and furniture if it was only 99 cents.  Many other people would have too.  If Sony keeps raising the prices, people will eventually stop buying them.  You can already see that the sales of neon furniture have slowed down.  If neon furniture was 99 cents, you'd see it in everyone's apartments.  For $1.99, you can buy a full game on an iTouch or mobile device.  Please state your opinions below.

If the prices of items were lowered, more than twice the number of people would buy them, so why does Sony feel the need to raise them?

You have no sales data to support the claim that more than twice the number of people would buy them.

If Sony keeps raising the prices, people will eventually stop buying them.

Then you have nothing to worry about. Just be patient and wait until that happens. Sony will lower prices if they see no one is buying. Problem solved.

You can already see that the sales of neon furniture have slowed down.  If neon furniture was 99 cents, you'd see it in everyone's apartments.

Really? You have access to Sony's sales data? How can you tell sales of neon furniture has slowed? Have you done an inspection of everyone's apartment? The answer is you don't know and are just making things up.

If you think prices are too high then don't pay them. Problem solved. No one is forcing you to buy anything. I fully support this movement. I hope you guys don't buy stuff, that way my avatar will be even more unique since I'm not going to stop because I have a job and $1.99 is not a big deal to me.

Don't let Sony push you around. Show them you won't pay for overpriced stuff. Power to the people!
