So wait... let me get this straight... this place has a monetary system based on acorns? One trip to yard and I'm going to OWN the place!

I just purchased a trained squirrel and she knows how to steal (I mean collect) acorns. She's a cutie! Smiley Wink

@Julian - OK ... better yet ... since I can't get this place to load at all, I can go to my beautifully green and well manicured back yard with real tulips and daffodils and play with my pets and visit my next door neighbor's pet chickens and get eggs as I live on a 1/4 lot with LOTS of trees in the middle of the city on a wonderfully sunny day (and collect acorns for free) ... or attempt to go to a virtual park and get stuck trying to load this place .... mmmm, rl wins here, I'm afraid!

@Jo - SQUIRREL! Smiley Wink

I think the spinning title screen mini game is mesmerizing...I just wish i knew how to play it. I guess I can always spend elsewhere and go back to Glittering Sands where I asked some MVPs to deputize me (surprisingly they did). I will interrogate more suspicious people and report everyone I suspect of acting with ill intent until the space cooperates a bit more and lets me in. Smiley Frustrated

ikr, mya - makes one really miss the older Southern Island Hideaway title screen mini game, huh? Smiley Wink

^ Veemee tweeted that everyone should have 200 acorns to start now, like it was posted in the MOTD.

TC915 tossed in:

Jack Russel, Border Collie, Rottwieler, Beagle, Highland Terrier & German Sheperd

 :^/ I'm waiting on a Siberian Huskey, myself. Maybe they'll add more in future updates.

Its a really nice place, beautiful and peaceful.  Based on the map the space seems bigger then it really is, I immediately bought the border collie since it reminded me to my resently passed away border collie Linda (I miss my baby Smiley Sad).  The novelty of the space kinda wore off rather quickly for me, but its a space I would visit to play with my new pet.
