Re: Abbey Hill Cottage & Garden Party

Nov 14, 2013

The more I see of this, the more I like it. Still hesitating, though, because I'm a fan of Winter spaces. Those who remember the upcoming plans post from EU in September may recall this list from Lockwood:

  • Mechsuit Pilots Clothing Items.
  • Dinosaur Apartment.
  • Nightmare Yacht Apartment and Halloween Content.
  • Post-Apocalyptic Clothing Items.
  • Country Cottage Apartment and virtual items.
  • Drey Wardrobe.
  • Dream Treehouse.
  • Solitude Apartment.
  • Masquerade Ball Clothing Items.
  • Winter Cottage Apartment & Virtual Items.

The Winter Cottage Apartment and Country Cottage Apartment sound awfully similar. The gardens in the photos above are beautiful, but if Winter turns out to be a different version of the space, like the Arctic Yacht, I'll go for the Winter version.

Low ceilings aren't an issue for me. That's accurate for this style of architecture.

Thanks, I updated the OP with the rewards you have discovered so far.

For those that own this space...

1) Is the reward daily cycle based on Midnight GMT (as was the case for all LKWD rewards until recently) or based on Midnight local time zone (as is the case with the Prehistoric and Nightmare Yacht spaces)?

2) Anyone get rewards on Friday?

3) Anyone get rewards on Saturday?

Unfortunately, this thread is just another reminder how poor communication and lack of information from devs about their own content has likely led to a lot of lost sales.

Well, the reward daily cycle is based on Midnight local time zone.

It is a bit weird. I found only one reward on Friday.

Abbey Hill Cottage Kitchen Range

But I found 2 rewards on Saturday

Abbey Hill Cottage Iron Bed

Abbey Hill Cottage Porcelain Sink

I love this space!

The sunshine-dappled path that meanders through the trees behind the cottage to the pond - love it! The exposed wood beams in the cottage, many rooms w/ fireplaces, lots of windows - very charming. The view is lovely all around. The gardens and the flowers all around the house - just marvelous! And the rewards so far have been beautifully detailed pieces of furniture perfect for the space and will be great to use in others. (bathroom porcelein pedestal sink - yes! now virtual personal hygiene can be maintained on Home! lol)

Great job, Lockwood!

This is a beautiful space.  Thank you D-Nitrate for creating this thread and Tang_Ang for posting pics of the rewards.  I'm now buying this space.  You both should charge commission for promoting it Woman Happy

The car (auto) (and perhaps the statue) goes with Lockwood's Figment retro items , not the Abbey Hill collection. That era (according to the clothing styles) was much prior to car manufacturing (by as much as 100 years).

The above comment is my opinion, except when I quote someone I disagree with, and unless I state a fact. You can disagree with my opinion, but facts are facts.
