The loading logo seemed a bit anti climatic since it just brought us back to the normal navigator thats ok by me but it just left me wondering what the point of it was. Didnt seem any faster at all. In 3 tries to get on home I got on, disconnected and than it froze my PS3 so Idk what actual problems were fixed. Is that lag after you change gone? Havent tried that yet. Also why does 1.55 hate the letter "H" Every description is missing the letter H. Lost alot of confidence seeing 'te' and 'undred'
well the loading screen kinda splits things up so it at least appears to load faster, havent been able to check much else due to network errors and then home going down for maintenance
BEWARE OF THE SPEEDING WHITE SAUSAGE!!!!!

I noticed a little faster load time when loading my spaces but when i downloaded one of the new spaces witch is only 8.5m it took a good min for it too even start then was pretty slow to DL a DL like that should take about 5-10sec so really i dont see any changes worth talking about.
From what I've experience from day one that's what happens everytime they boast about "shortened start-up time." All they do is change the start up screens so you get to sit and stare at one or more new load-up screens while Home loads.
It still takes just as long but I guess they figure people wont realize that because theyre watching a bunch of rediculous loading screens. Reminds me of the day they added the navigator and claimed "faster start-up time." Pffft, all it did was get you to the navigator so you could sit there and wait instead of waiting at the previous loading screen.
Absolutely no difference--still long initial load time (just with ads to look at). I froze twice, had the old D3505 error once and spaces are loading slower than ever. I got basically nothing done besides shutting down PS3 twice, reloading Home 3 times and waiting for spaces to load in my approximately 45 mins online. Good times. Now we go down for more maintenance? Whatever.
Id think it having to load ads on top of the user content would make it slower and it sure seems it, but maybe its just me. It still lags when changing in a public place and that goes for waiting for your items to load and when you leave the wardrobe. All ive seen are new labels that Idc about at all. Seems like the same old home to me just in a new hat.
It won't actually be any faster unless they commit themselves to upgrading the servers. The way they're going about it now is basically piling a whole bunch of accessories onto a turtle and expecting it to race across the finish line. It's the same old turtle, but now it's got shades!
