hey so i bought a 50 dollar psn card cause i wanna buy battlefield 3.. i type the code in and it says after this card value has 50.00, so i click yes to put it in my wallet then i get a message saying " the funds could not be added to your wallet" . WHY ? did i just spend 50 dollars for nothing ??????

I can tell you that mishap has happen to people throughout years. You can try searching 'can't add funds' and see how others got this problem & maybe fixed it. Here are other methods.

Login > Account > Redeem

Try if that works.

Sometimes this problem occurs. You could also try calling up Sony Support.

It's possible the card wasn't activated at the store. Take it back.

im having the same problem. i want to buy battle field premium so i got a promotional code for 50$ and put it in and then i click yes i would like to add funds to my wallet then it say i cant help me i really want premium

I got it to work but only for one transaction... I just deleted all of my billing information, and then re-entered it literally exactly how it appears on my statement, I wrote it in all caps, just like my statement, then it allowed me to add $10 to my wallet... I was so stoked, so I went into the store to pre order NBA 2k13 and to my surprise (not really) it wasn't working again, error code 80023102... the billing information that they just approved was not correct again for some reason... seriously getting annoying... but hey at least I got $10 in my wallet now -_________-

I think it has something to do with PSN taking down all the Comic Book content on PSN.  What is weird, is that I was able to add twenty something to my wallet to buy comics, but half an hour later, I could not do that to buy more comics.
