what is theport on the top right side of the vita

ive looked in all the manuals but i have not found anything, please help

future peripherals. just as the old school PSP had the port on top for the camera and GPS units.

when/if Sony releases any accessories to address this port, you will see that documentation with the accessory.

i thought so, but i was a little perplexed that like the psp and its usb mini port, this is one i have not seen yet so i was wondering if it was for usb use just sonys own

There's a site claiming that the top port can support video out. I know Sony really said no video out but they didn't say it would never happen. I bet will see a mini hdmi video out. I think it would be handy to watch videos on a tv

Thats for now, yea. It seems to be another multi-use port. Dev units have HDMI out so

I'm willing to bet Sony will put a light on top of it so it works like a move controller. They can emulate the Wii U experience and make potential Wii U customers think again. Also a tv trtransmitter can be played with it to replace tv remotes. They can also brag that the Vita is its own system and not just a controller
