Seriously? Thats why you want a Vita is too watch youtube? What good can watching youtube possibly give you. If You want to watch stupid videos go drop 800$ on an ipad 3. Let someone who wants to use a Vita for games have your Vita instead. While it is a portable device, it is primarily a portable gaming device. hence the two joysticks, dpad, 4 buttons and 2 shoulder buttons.
its not about making youtube videos.let me break it down to you like this.its like a condom that you'd rather have and not need than to need and not have.gaming is fine on vita, but why have so many features if your so limited?and why do they have photo and video apps on this thing???i know, limited.only certain use.Its only an example.not for people to critisize opinion.if you wanna put rims on your car that shine you should be able to.not for some dumby to tell you that you cant...
why would you want to use youtube on your vita in your home off the ps3????im talkin on the go with mobile device that costs 300 dollars.PLUS TAX!!!its called sony computer ENTERTAINMENT ETC.
oh my god Brocktree you know what the vita is primarily for.NO *#!T SHERLOCK.THEN WHY THEY GOT NETFLIX APP?just for gaming?you might as well go all out.Make the sky the limit.not what yu see in front of you.someone had an imagination that started ps.now the vita.why give i limitations?oh.dont hate.cuz i dont owe you S**t.my vita is mine.....i just wish they'd make it better for all of us consumers to enjoy our stuff...ALL OF US,not just me.
While I understand the argument that the Vita is primarily a gaming device, it is a gaming device that also has other capabilities, and personally, I'd like to see as many of those put into use as possible. IMO, one of the reasons smartphones are so popular is because they do a little of everything. Their primary purpose is to talk and stay connected, but people enjoy having all the other features that come along with it. Why WOULDN'T someone want features to be enabled that their device is capable of? To me, YouTube isn't something I'm just dying to get my hands on for the Vita, but I can certainly understand why someone might be eager for them to get it up and running, since the device is capable of running it.
It's like features on a fully loaded car - no one probably NEEDS all of that stuff, but who wouldn't want them thrown in if the dealer is able to give them to you for the same price?
Personally, I want my Vita to do all it is capable of. I'm more than willing to wait on new features and apps to be rolled out, but I'm not going to fault someone for being eager to get a feature that is rumored or announced to be on the way. Even further, if it's something (remote play on PS3 or PSN games, or PS1 compatibility, for examples) that was used in some way to market the device, I think people are entitled to complain all they want when those features are played down, not supported, or at least delayed, after the sales are made using them to entice customers to purchase.
The way I see it - there's nothing at all wrong with wanting features on a system you paid your hard earned money for, especially when the system is more than capable, and those features have been rumored or announced since launch, and also many of which were used in some way to help sell you the device.
