my psvita touches itself

Your vita is kinky, too?

Ok seriously, it's probably because you got too much moisture on the capacitive touch screen. Try breathing air on your vita to lighlty moisten the whole screen with your breath, then while the moisture is still there whipe it off fully with a soft cloth or your shirt. That should work but if it doesn't just restart your system and it will be back to normal.

[ Edited ]

This happens to me when my vita is exposed too long in cold weather. Really weird.

This is true. I had my Vita (and smartphone) "go wild" and register inputs which are not really there. I also had the Vita not react to my touch at all.

The problem seems to stem from the power supply noise interfering with the capacitive technology of touchscreens. An easy fix to this is to move to a different place and try a different power socket. And stop using just any USB charger you can find! Cheap and No-name power supplies (read: Crap) usually skimp out on the Noise Filtering department which causes touchscreens to go haywire.
