to the people who own the Japanese version of Ragnarok odyssey

20 replies 338 views Edited Oct 21, 2012

I was just curious, since the game is already out in japan, I was wondering, if any of you have a japanese account can tell me if there is a Ragnarok odyssey demo? I'm asking so I can sorta expect a English version Demo

also, tell me what you think of the game? how is it? is it a must have?

still would like to know how this is like monster hunter, and i dont really want to hear "you go out and hunt giant creatures", no, there is a difference between hunting and fighting, and can you sink 500+ hours into it, use actual parts of the monster to craft new armor and weps? Are there tactics to each fight, hit locations, ect?

I have never played it. Just relaying what I have been reading and hearing. No need to get defensive. Лілія Лілії з'їхались

It is like Monster Hunter. If you know of Gods Eater Burst it's much more like that than Monster Hunter, though.

I think it is a good game, lacking in variety, but I am only up to Chapter 2, so I don't think I have experienced much yet.

There's no hunting. Only fighting.

I think that this game can last more than 500 hours. You will use the different parts to create armor, upgrade weapons, and create hats.

There are tactics in each fight.

Can you compare it to something more western? I'm sure that sounds ignorant but I have never played mh or any other jrpg!

Xseed say that is going to be a demo after the release, how much time after the release, i dont know.

The game is based in ragnarok online ( older than any MH), it has some smilar elements like the camera and the village layout, other than that are very different games.

RO is pretty much focus on anime hack and slash, armors and accessories are cosmetic only, u can upgrade weapons and collect cards that can give u some skills , stats like dmg, attack speed and so on.

The campaign has chapters and u have to pass the mission in order to unlock the next one ( you dont have all the missions unlock like MH)
The class are pretty well balanced except for the assassin who is the most op class so far.
After chapter 6 the game is oriented to be played in mp ( you can solo it if u want too) all the mp can be played alone too
