LOL keep dreamin
XBOX charges for their online capabilities, which i dont fully understand why.
But they aren't going to mix with a free service.
Buy an xbox for 60 bucks on craigslist if you wanna play it that bad. just dont forget another 60 bucks for your xbox live membership
Alright smart asses, I admit it is funny thought and you made me chuckle with your Pepsi+Coke=6 pack awesomeness, but if there was and alt universe that allowed this PSN vs X tournaments to see who the best is that would be epic. Not that I stand a chance since I'm just a cusual gamer at best, and yes your right not that it would ever happen..
I happen to think that cross platform gaming may be coming sooner than you all think. Dust 514 is making the game crossover with EVE Online on the PC.
As far as the future Ithink it will be in the hands of Developers not console companies at first. Developers setting up their own game servers that would allow Boxers and PS3 to play on the same servers, and in the same games. The console companies will be right behind them. Exclusives sell consoles, but features like cross console gaming will keep people playing and buying.
At the end of the day I think cross console will be better for use the players. If more of the big titles becomes cross over capable, then consoles builders will have to count on thier product quality to sell their hardware, and not Game Title loyalty. In that case... lets face it... playstation is more then a step ahead of xbox, and lightyears ahead of wii and wii u.
