I think you missed the part where the ambient temperature was going down while the core temperature was going up......

I knew the mayo comment was. Are those findings supposed to be a joke too? Chocolate was looking real good until I finally noticed the actual temperatures. I skipped to the bar graph at the bottom.

if the tests are accurate then AS-5 is better than MX-4 by a few degrees and i would suspect its because pastes that need curing just do better overall..

Their tests aren't very scientific. They didn't control for the room temperature. They didn't test several applications of the same paste. Their results can be entertaining though, but I'm unlikely to lose sleep over using one thermal compound vs. another.

You'll need more testing to get a meaningful comparison between Arctic Silver 5 and Arctic Cooling MX-4. Even their thermometer for measuring room temperature and computer temperature have errors of plus/minus one degree centigrade. That can eat up the two degree celcius difference.

May not be very scientific, but certainly worth a laugh. lol Honestly though, anyone who would use food products as an alternative thermal paste in their PS3 must have rocks for brains. It just sounds insane.
