I opened mine up to clean the lens, closed it and now the power won't even come on. The ribbon isn't broken and all the screws are in, this sucks.

Lol that is how I already clean my PS2.  I'm also missing 3 or 4,screws now : / I don't know where they went, but my PS2 works fine so I,don't really care lol.

I still had my warranty sticker on my PS2 and I called them to get it fixed cuz I had the same clicking problem but she wanted 115$!!!!  So I said screw it and i used your way to fix it but i got no grease is there anything else that works like WD-40 or something
