screen cleaning cloth question

3 replies 14 views Edited Mar 5, 2012

does it have to be microfibre? is it actually recommended? can a regular really smooth soft cloth work just as well? is there any harm, if the cloth is still nice and smooth and soft?

Uh maybe, I use the mirco-fiber one, but I think the worry is small time scratches from the threads....

You don't have to use the specialized one, it's just more smooth any better at removing figerprints.

Yea as long as its smooth and soft i dont see a problem. You could go to your local dollar store and buy eyeglass cleaning cloths for a buck.

I use the cleaning cloth I got with my new moniter; no stratches on my screen at all
