ps3 slim black screen, please help

when i turn on my ps3 slim the screen stays black. i tried safe mode but when i do it the screen will flash then nothing comes on its still black, i tried to leave the power cord in then plug in the av cords but it still didnt work, i tried to take out the hard drive and stick it back in but it still didnt work. what should i do????

Reset the video mode.

 

There are Youtube videos on how to do it.
