ps3 graphics problem

when i start my ps3 it hangs with green and some red and white pixles like in this video,is this happen to anyone and how to fix this

Wow time for a new unit, or if your good with taking things apart you could do that. Get some thermal paste from best buy or online and take the system apart. Clean the CPU and gpu ( I used rubbing alcohol) and also clean the heat sink side that rest on the CPU and gpu. Apply a thing even layer of thermal paste on both and put the unit back together. Then try and see if it works. I figure the $10 for thermal paste would be worth a shot instead of spending alot more to have it fixed.

I'd be siding with severe overheating as well. I would reflow the RSX, though I think it may be too late for that as well.
