i know i'm probably gonna sound dumb but i cant figure out how to retrive my ps3 friend id so that me and a friend can chat he cand figure it out eather... can someone pelase ttell us where to find this... is it on the playstation itself?

or is it somewhere on ps.com?

the id is your email adress. But are you talking about your name like "zysron"? That is what you really need to add each other.

Has he made an online account yet? you have to make pne. It doesn't come with the ps3.

If he/she isn't under your friend's list, then you can check 'Recent Players Met' from the XMB.
