For the same game title, the costs of making the game are the same, the only difference is the costs of packaging and distrubtion. Prices will remain pretty much at the physical version's MSRP, because it is more profitable for them, plus they aren't going to undercut their retail partners.

For digital movies you can buy from Sony/Microsoft/Apple, those prices are also the same as their physical counterparts.

Apparently there is a market for buying digital, I personally prefer physical media, but some like the conveinence of buying digital...
