Well it's nice to know that Sony will support thieves more than actual customers with PS3's under warranty.
People who go their account "stolen" gave the user their information to game share. There is no way for another user in PSN to get your email address tied to your PSN account without telling them.

So exactly how is Sony not supporting actual customers with PS3's under warranty?

Unless dude bro has access to your email account as well, the email address hasn't been changed. Call sony and tell them you forgot your password and when you enter in your dob it says it's incorrect. they'll reset your password for you. Problem solved. No need for four pages on this thread.

Game sharing is risky and sharing your login name may be against the TOS, but Sony must share part of the blame as they themselves put out conflicting information about game sharing:
Sony announced that players who download games from PlayStation's online shop can share them on up to five other PS3 machines.
If a player logs into his PlayStation 3 account on a friend's system, he can download any game he has already purchased. "You can send that content to four other friends for that initial investment," said Tretton. "We want to get the game in as many hands as possible.
That's JackTretton, CEO of SCEA, speaking just before the PS3 launch

Bad wording on my part. The point I was trying to convey was it's frustrating that Sony will support a user who's "account was stolen" (although I can't see how one get's stolen... information is given away.) but won't reset a PSN account because the person cannot remember the email address tied to the account.
