Did you buy those movies on Itunes.

Yes = Apples DRM won't allow play back.

No. OK moving on..

What format are the movies in....

MP4, Yes or No ?

Yes = Good for You, next section..

No= PS vita does not support any thing but MP4.

Are the files high res movies.

Yes = Content manager has not been updated yet to allow HD file transfer to PS vita 1080p pixel support was only aded in firmware >2.00 .

No = Pass don't know why ? yet.. Ill do more reading...

Extra ..... when you set it up did you point the CMA at the correct locations...

Capture.PNG

These were the defaults but Windows 7 for example. Does not use these folders. it uses extras on the names like "My Videos" or "My music" so double check were you told it to look....

Post the answers to the prevoius posts with the stats of an example files. Windows 7 has screen grab fuction . kinda sure windows 8 does..

Extra = Copy a Video file from PS vita to PC ,

Heres a video to transfer. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/118976228/test-1080p-360p.mp4

Download to vita by holding your finger on the link..then select download..

Then see were that file ends up... Then copy it back. If that fails then its likely Windows 8 has  broken the PC transfer system.

If it's in .avi format, it will not read it.

I use an app on my laptop to convert video files to audio and/or other video formats. I use this (the free version does well enough). Like someone stated, you may want to make sure the video file is in the designated folder on the Content Manager.

I have a somewhat similar question: If I purchase a movie or TV show using Media Go (Sony's media transfer software for the old PSP), is it possible using the Content Manager Assistant to transfer that show to my Vita?

The guy above has pretty much explained everything on point.

I just wanted to elaborate on the MP4 point. Like he said Vita can only transfer mp4 format for videos. For example if you had an avi you would have to download a converter.

Google is your best friend. Private message me if you want the exact site, because i dont want to promote it on thr forums.

Anyways i reccomend just downloading the media on the PS Store if you have the money. Most shows are very well priced, and super easy to download. I have the whole season 11 of family guy right now, haha.
