I prefer to have a physical game to hold. It comes with a cool case and some literature. Plus when I am really done with it I can put it on Ebay for some money back. Also I don't have to spend time waiting for some huge 3+ (some even 10+) GB download and the following long install (which can't be done in background). Buying a physical game from a store is just more fun.
Exactly what he said, that is best part about having physical copies is when you are completely done with them, you can make money back from them. Safer, cooler to look at and can resell..
Plus for me all the hacking and crap going on, digital is just not a reliable enough solution for me. Just like I would never store important imformation on a cloud server.
Never know what can happen to server or if it could lose all your information, if that did ever happen good luck getting those digital games back.
Plus memory space is just too low and too expensive in it's current form for me to seriously consider going fully digital with the size games are now, on top of the safety factor. It is also somtimes cheaper to buy the phsyical copy of game versus the digital version as well.
Gamestop = Pre -Order bonuses
Cheaper (In the EU anyway)
No extra long 1-12Gb downloads
PSN Store = Reciepts are easier to keep hold of, since they are sent to your email adress
Digital games cannot get damaged like discs!
I buy from Gamestop because its cheaper.
physical copys any day. As long as you take care of them they will always be there and play good. I have every game I have played from ps1,ps2 ps3,and psp. I can still play them all at any time. Some real good games will never see digital but I can play them. If someone hacks from a game and it gets pulled from psn I can still play it. I don't have to be signed in to psn to play them. And I don't have to buy them again to play them. I have a collection of over 200 games to play at any time I choose. I love my disk.
Don't limit yourself to only two options. You're currently connected to the internet. You can browse a number of stores at the touch of a button, and find the best price.
