17 replies 125 views Edited Oct 12, 2012

as you may have know, prodigy has been making these chill threads,

if you guys don't mind, i'd like to make a simple version of my own (just this one)

so, what are your favourite video game genres?

my favourite of all time is RTS,

i was a pc gamer for a long time,

kinda sad that up till now, there have been no good RTS games on consoles...

I can't stand RTS lol, probably because I'm not good at planning ahead, I react to situations as they happen, so FPS's, Action/Adventure and more action oriented RPGs suit me best. I'm fine with some horror games like Resident Evil and the brilliant Dead Space.

Haha, I can't stand RTS either.  I'm pretty much an action/adventure and RPG guy.  Some of my favorite games of all time, to give you an idea of what I like, are Super Mario 64, Pokemon Crystal, Kingdom Hearts II, Portal 2, and the Assassin's Creed games (the only one I haven't played is Brotherhood).

RTS is okay to me. I'm more geared toward action titles. I like to have full control over characters instead of choosing actions and having limitations on things like movement and things such. Despite this, I still like RPGs and SRPGs because some require thinking. One genre I couldn't get into was Western RPGs. I see the appeal, but they are usually boring to me. Skyrim was fun but kind of boring at the same time (probably doesn't make sense) imo, and ultimately traded it in. Borderlands is kinda meh to me as well. Hopefully I can get into Soul Sacrifice, which has some aspects to a Western RPG.

I just consider it as an action RPG. I have heard that it is a good game. I also heard that Witcher 2 was good.

SN: IE is so awful. About to send a message to support to fix the forums on Chrome.
