I had this happen as well.
Now that I have gone through all of this I realize this is not Sony's fault
I just made it wireless after going through every single post on here trying to fix this.
The UPnP I still have on and my Media is working better then ever.
Thank you all
I had this happen just now while Playing Battlefield Bad Company, and I have never had my Upnp turned on.
I set up my network with a non linksys router,
using a cable and not wireless,
configured the ports to forward correctly,
never had UPnp enabled,
have a static internal ip for the PS3,
have the dns set in the ps3,
and then while I was playing that message popped up and now I can't log in. I'd like to know how to fix it since I don't have Upnp enabled. And since people can log in with another account that means it's an account issue, so I'd like to know who is responsible for disabling my account, at first I thought it was a return of the BFMC bug where people you were playing against could use their computer to send a false data packet to your ps2 logging you out. If that glitch is here, they need to fix it.
What is a hero but a mortal man, who has slightly surpassed the others?
i had the same problem :/ when i went to sign in it said 'error you have been signed out of playstation network' i also had some other users on my ps3 ad other ps3 online accounts. they all worked fine. i copied all my game data that i wanted on to a new account i made, and then deleted the user on my ps3 that kept having the error. it now all works fine and i can sign in
