sorry just looked at my last post and it could be quite confusing haha im gna write it in steps now (:

1.go on to the user and dont sign in, go to saved data utility and press triangle on data you want to keep and transfer it all to another user.

2. when all the data has been copied to the new user file, delete the old one.

3. go onto your new user file and go to sign up for playstation network.

4.use existing user and put in your user and password.

5. hopefully now you will be able so sign in (:

Yeah it happens to me too, but I don't know what to do. So, if anyone knows how to solve the problem with a simple solution please Help me and leave a comment, because when I loggin it says:
"An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PLAYSTATION Network (8002AA08)", and I want to get over it already. Thanks!

I got the same thing this morning. Totally bummed out. I play Modern Warfare 2 online and am about to prestige for the first time. I think I lost all of my progress. It would kill me to start all over.

i did not do the upgrade but i did something else i typet a coulpe of numbers in and i could go psn and now it wont let me on and evreything else sed succeded esept from psn (!-!)

Wow, that's not annoying or anything...

I didn't upgrade either, I've been able to get on PSN for the past week with 3.15 through various methods, and now I can't.  Seems like Sony caught up.  I don't want to but I might have to update.

As much as a Die hard Sony Fan boy I am...Sony has the worst customer service imaginable! I swear the rep got all confrontational when I asked about the Network logout error...he said its not the ps3, but instead its the actual router...*be it I've used 3 different routers to no avail*  He gave me some port numbers

Don't know if that will work...but Sony im sorry to say, plz take notes from Microsoft on how to run cust care, as well as internet...cuz right now your stuff sucks...can't even play half a game on CoD2

ive been reading over and over the different problems people are havin trying to get ip address or internet connections or even logging in to psn i have same problem .... well somewhat   for one ive got the ports forwarded ive put my ps3 in the DMZ ive disabled media share iv diasbled upnp ive given it a static ip basicly done everything  ive read on 20 sites and 1000 of posts i still have the same problem 90% of the time my router is good my wireless/wired connection is good but psn keeps failing or it will connect with low low low data transfer speed (10mb incoming 100kb outgoing) but i did notice when i turn on mac filtering and only allow my ps3 to access the internet through my router it works fine can someone tell me how to set it up so that i can use my pc and my ps3 at the same time cause there seems to a problem somewhere and im ready just say screw it and go back to xbox one thing about paying for service it always worked

yes it happened same to me also when I updated my ps3 software after updating i played it and didnot played on like Tuesday and after when I turned on my ps3 and start to sign in its says an erroah save been occured you have been signed out from playstation store
