I used a thumb drive. But you have to create certain folders so that the Ps3 can access them. I think you name a folder MUSIC or VIDEOS or something like that, insert into PS3 and select Music on XMB then press trianlge when you see the thumb drive on the menu.

uve been answered about the music is wrks fine for mine but vidios are different
when ur ipod is connected to ur PC u have to open ur ipod und "my computer"
save the videos to the shortcut for the ipod....
then connect to PS3 and when u do the display all thing the videos will pop up
and all u have to do is copy then delete from ur ipod its that easy....
i had some luck pressing triangle and coppying the whole file that should say ipod.
all the songs that i got from itunes worked, but only some of the videos worked. the rest of the videos were corrupted
