i have a couple of movies i'd love to save onto my ps3 from my ipod.  when i connect my ipod to my ps3, the ipod shows up in the menu, but there aren't any files on it.  is there a way to get files from ipod to ps3?

when the ipod icon shows up try prtessing triangle then it might show folders or files.

Thats because you cant transfer media from your ipod to your ps3.

I did this with my Ipod Shuffle a while back. 

Plug in your Ipod
Go to the Music section of your XMB - highlight "USB device (Ipod)"
Press Triangle
Select "Display All"
Goto your Music folder on your Ipod and then hit Triangle, select Copy to your HDD.

Also, some songs will only appear as letters and numbers, rather than song titles.

I never tried to transfer videos.

Actually, you could.

Perhaps the songs you have are from Itunes.

The songs I transfered were not from Itunes.
