it does suck.... if at least i let people know to be aware of buying used playstations. i also thin sony should really look at this problem with some awareness that something like this could affect their business

every palce around me is sold out as well. thats why i bought used. couldnt afford the 399.00 ps3

Of course he does not.  He got what he wanted...rid of his console and money to buy another in his pocket.  He is lying through his teeth. I feel bad for you guy, but we all learn lessons everyday. Maybe Sony will have a change of heart or something, as there is really no reason to make you pay for someone else's carelessness. But not so sure that Sony cares either.

They banned the Mac address which means it doesnt matter what user id is used.

 




MAC Address is Layer 2 and is updated in the Header several times along the way, that cannot be how the ban is preformed.

As far as I know, only the IP changes in a header, MAC never changes. Even if it did, it could rely on a multitude of other ways to get the systems MAC address.

What's the error code you get when you try to sign in... I could check to see if it is a permenant ban if you want... (Beats waiting for Sony... LMAO)
