Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty has taken over my top spot (from Resogun), at least temporarily. I am finding I am obsessed with obtaining that platinum trophy. Only 4 trophies to go (3 of which will be unlocked in the next day or so). "New 'n' Hasty" is going to take a while. I have over 3 hours to cut down to get that playthrough under 3 hours.
Are the coltrols for Abe the same as in previous Oddworld games?
Yes, they are.
L1 to sneak, L2+R2 to chant, D-Pad/R2+D-Pad for Gamespeak, etc. Abe's movement is definitely much improved over the original, too. Analog sticks are much better for precision control (such as sidling up to a mine to activate/deactivate it).
Thank You !!!
I enjoyed Contrast and Entwined quite a bit. Looking forward to Counter Spy tomorrow.
@ Ugo_sixFt_Below .. Ok, we get it. You’re a disgruntled gamer, **bleep** off at Sony. Why do you find it necessary to spew your discontent in an otherwise positive thread? Give it a break.
Also, as an older gamer myself, I find it insulting that you constantly refer to indie games as “kiddie” games. I find many of them to be enjoyable and rewarding experiences but by your reasoning this would make me an immature whelp.
I'm right there with you n7finn. I'm 33 and enjoy all kinds of games. No Mans Sky is an indie game and it looks better than most aaa titles. Can't wait for that one.
Yeah. Indie game = kiddie game? Ever checked out Outlast? Daylight? Hell, even my personal favorite, Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty has some things that are pretty adult-oriented (granted, presented in often humourous context).
The major difference between AAA and Indie is Indie developers generally don't have someone footing the bill for them.
