Re: Your Thoughts on the Order 1886

Fnished!

There's a lot to love about this game but there are also many flaws, I feel like it proably needed another year in development, the core of a great idea is there it just doesn't come to fruition. It kind of reminds me of Uncharted 1 in that way, obviously some amazing but not quite there yet. Here's hoping for a sequel!

I am very happy so far and don't pay no mind to some reviews here. I'll keep playing and enjoy the game. I love the graphics in the game and the old world flavor.

Game was way to short.  I am sure it will end up being a series, but for the price, I am done the the game.

I like it a lot especially the second half of the game. It started pretty slow but it gets better as the story progress. Love the main character, he's like Clint Eastwood and Batman. Combine. Love the Soundtrack too, I think how the story ends could lead to a sequel.

The game is near perfect imo. I love it and RaD did an excellent job game with a theatrical feel. But I see many small things they could've done to better suit not only their goal but user experience as well.

Im on chapter seven and after hours and hours of playing dragon age.. (Great Game) this is very refreshing and im enjoying the **bleep** out of it.. its starts off a little slow with handing you the controls at first but picks up as you go.. great atmosphere and im loving the story and direction this Series is heading...  Well worth my money..

havent finished the game yet, im on chapter 9, but im really enjoying it.

the game is just like any other run-of-the-mill third person shooter, but very heavy on interactive cutscenes.

the story is pretty great.

the characters are nice and arent boring

the little gameplay there is is fun due to different weapons and objectives

the game is gorgeous overall

i know this game will leave me wanting more, so in a way it is a success.

also, i can tell you that ive already put in over 5 hours into the game. not sure why reviewers were speedrunning the game.

Re: Your Thoughts on the Order 1886

My only regret is not picking it up used.  I'm a huge fan of alternate history type games/books and it has Tesla in it?  Winning combination right there in my opinion.  Graphics were amazing, game play was straight forward without all the little gimmicks and things that other games throw in as a dime a dozen.  I liked the way they did the storyline the whole "what's with the pendant bottle" that they don't revel off the jump of the game.

All in all it's a good game that passed the time and took you on a nice little story for the 6 hours it took me to complete.  All that said, after finishing it, with as much fun as I had with it, I shouldn't have spent $60 on it.  Probably wouldn't have minded spending $40 or so for it.
