Hi,
I recently got the ylod and did the hairdryer fix it method last night On my 60gb it worked and been playing it for about 2 hrs,then i turn it off,and let it cool under a fan,as to prevent it from happening again.seems to work...

it won't last long..that fix is only temporary..better make sure you backup your gamesaves.

his has been running for over 4 months and I know several people who it has worked permsnently for. 

 

Total, yes only a very small handful. It's still a good idea to back up your PS3 on a regular basis however and especially in this situation.
