$400-500? Yes, considering thats roughly the cost of my laptop and it cant play games anywhere near the quality of a Ps4.
I paid $1,200 for my laptop (a 2012 MacBook Air), but it can at least play SOME relatively recent games (Portal 2 looks better on my Mac than it does on the PS3, actually).
That being said, about $500 is my cap for a 'Core' PS4; $550 if it is part of a bundle that includes a game or two.
I will pay the high-end of whatever the range is... because I can. I also plan on getting 2 or 3 games, and of course an extra controller. I MIGHT get the Eye as well, unless it comes bundled. All in all.. I expect to be pumping out around $1,000 on launch (already set to pre-order on Amazon). I already have a 128GB iPad, 32GB iPhone 5, new MBP and new Mac Mini, along side my Nexus 7 and Nexus 4. Ah... and somewhere I have my Vita. Hopefully it will be collecting a little less dust this holiday. So yeah... does that answer the poster's question?
$400 maybe $450 . depends on E3 yet on what games they have to show off . I would like to pick up 2 games . $400 would be ideal because after that and two games and sales tax thats about $550 i will have spent.
