A lot of gamers have been slamming this on other forums.. am I the only one that was actually like "I'd play that." ??? lol
It has potential. And it's something I think would be great to play with my nieces.

This is not something that interests me, but I do see how it can be used for all ages. The one they showed at E3 seemed to be aimed more at kids. I think it can be used as a learning tool for everyone. Like for example, if your interested in stuff about space, maybe there could be an Astronomy book maybe, it would be neat being able to learn in a whole new way. (they already said there was going to be an Atlus, so that`s a learning type of thing.)

That would be awesome. It truely does have potential.
I remember my Mom renting my brother an I "learning" games for our NES back in the day.
This could easily be that for this generation of gamers with children.

It's fine that Sony is coming out with Wonderbook, it helps get the message out there that there is more to the PS3 other than just gaming. Microsoft is doing something simular with Sesame Street & National Geographic interactive TV Kinect titles.
IMO the mistake Sony made was to spend time demoing it at the E3 press conference. They should have just talked about it briefly and showed one of the promo videos posted above.
IMO I don't think Wonderbook is going to be a success for Sony, but I can't blame them for trying something new...
