Will the PS4 revive the playstation brand?

Cause lets be honest, we've been treated like second class citizens all this gen. Hopefully that changes with the PS4's arrival.

Very funny GIFs, but apparently you guys haven't been paying much attention this gen. PS3 has been treated like the 2nd system all this gen, especially in the US. At my local retailers for instance, Xbox shelf space was plentiful with a library spanning back for years like it should. Meanwhile, most PS3 games that are not freshly released get dumped in the bargain bin, even at full price, just to make space. I'm hoping the PS4 brings us back to the PS2 era where the Playstation brand was #1 or at least not treated like **bleep** .

That's the stores problem not Sony's. Not sure where you go but the PS3 has a bigger collection of games. Maybe that's why they are in the bargain bin because people are buying more ps3 games then Xbox games. I know when ever I go to my local gamestop, people are always looking thorough the PS3 games section. Years ago I did fell like it was only a few of us but with the price of the ps3 now, more people can buy it.

Preach it preacher man!!

I am glad I am not the only one who noticed this.

Seems lots of people have not noticed, perhaps that is why they call it "Blind fanboyism"??

I really wnat Sony to be successful, but with this gen they really messed up a lot by abusing us, lets hope they have learnt their lesson.

From my research in the gaming industry and going by international sales reports, the Xbox 360 is dominate in the US and England, the ps3 is dominite in most others.

Still don't see how ether of you two feel that way. The ps3 has had a very steady stream of games since the fall of 2007. If your talking about how Xbox has gotten alot of things 1st or all together then that's just how money is thrown around. Nobody has described what makes you feel like second class citizens. Please DECRIBE what makes you feel that way.

In my Opinion these qualify.

-it is well known that the 360 was easier to program for.  Because of this most multiplatform games were made for the 360 then ported(Poorly very often) to the PS3.

-We were told the Ps3 would have certain features, then after buying it many of them were removed. B/C, Linux, 5 activations.

How do you feel about these two things?

(I dont care about the 360 exclusive content for COD or GTA, those are not good games in my eyes)
