This is also one of my reasons. People keep saying PSN games cost the same but really they do not. PSn games have the tax included so a $59.99 game on the PSN cost just that; not the $64 and change you pay at a retailer. My digital library currently consist of:

  • Super Motherload
  • Trine 2
  • Battlefield 4
  • Killzone Shadow Fall
  • NBA 2k14
  • Need For Speed: Rivals
  • Flower
  • Soundshapes
  • Warframe
  • DC Universe Online
  • Resogun
  • Blacklight
  • Contrast
  • Netlflix, Hulu, and Redbox apps

and I still have about 190 gigs of space left. Considering I only started with 409 this is much better than expected. It is VERY nice having all of these games in my UI and being able to quickly move from game to game. Also when my TV is tied up, I can just flip on the Vita and access all of my digital games from my bedroom. These are the reasons I am going digital when posssible. In a few months when more games come out I will upgrade to the 2tb drive.

I understand same price as store and not having to go there.

My quesiton is more because these games seem to take up ALOT of space (10GB for those that have discs so I assume digital is way more).  With only 500GB, won't that fill up HDD fast and then you have to delete some of the games you purchased?

Maybe I'm wrong, but curious

I think the reason is  exclusive digital only games that would come to  to be played in  usa.  I think that is huge factor in digital game error,  some of those will never come to usa shores or in usa stores, but you cant get digital from the maker of them.

I dont think  space is going to be big deal,  when ps cloud comes out peple will forget about  Hdd space.  Its till non-commental  on how that will work and etc. Nobody knows,

Lots of people, like me.

I live in a dual gamer household where the two gamers have very different taste in games.

I know many people with multiple systems. I even knew one guy who had four original Xbox's and four Gold accounts so he could host multiple Unreal Championship games back when cable sucked and his T1 was a really big deal.

I prefer discs because I can buy them used and trade or sell them when I'm done. I save a lot of money that way. There are very few games I would consider buying a digital copy of regardless of convenience.

I can understand multiple PS4s in a household if more than 1 person is a gamer but just for 1 person I don't.
