Some people may have recently purchased a PS3 without having ever owned a PS2. Once playing some PS3 games and browsing the Playstation network of games found PS2 games of interest. Therefore, being able to play older system games on the newly purchased PS3 would be nice; therefore, a question such as this arises. And, yes, I'm that "some people."
Those PS2 classics available on PSN, are recoded to play on the PS3, so these games are recognized thes as a PS3 ones. That is why the saves don't need to use the PS2 virtual memory card option...
I believe at one you step to Netherlands next level but also Some people enjoy the fact of playing an old game on a newer console. even through its ps3 why not make it able to play any ps title weather it's ps1,ps2,or ps3 some games never get old and if ps3 have such amazing graphics than why spas on that idea
I was surfing the apps on playstation store finally notice there ps2 software data app is there any reason for me to download the app?
read the description. Then ask yourself that same question.
why do people buy a PS3 to play PS2 games on? I'll never understand the point of buying a next gen system to play last gen games on. At some point you had a PS2. Why did you get rid of it if it was so important to you to be able to play PS2 games?
Why? WHY!?!?!?!?!?!? Because all THREE of my ps2 systems broke. IS THAT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON!?!?!?!?
