I was reading another thread and something caught my attention. Why is Sony charging $60 dollars on their excluvives? I think exclusives: digital and hard copies should be cheaper. If you look at the difference in pricing from PC gaming to console gaming, it is rediculous. I understand that there is a fee that publishers pay Sony to put their game on the console. But why are Sony still charging the same price when the game is created within their own company?
So why is Sony charging $60 bucks for a game that should be $40?

I feel perfectly fine paying 60$ for a PS exclusive because most of them are worth the 60.
Because these exclusives are exclusive. Exclusive to one console = smaller audience. Not to mention the fact that there are very few Sony 1st party games that are eaten up like Gears or Halo are on the 360. Look at Resistance 3. Hands down one of the best FPS' I have ever played, yet it sold poorly.
You should be asking why the multi-platform, more-easily-developed games that are churned out yearly by companies with mind-numbing amounts of cash cost $60.
Give the players a chance to actually play the game for a little bit and start asking for a new edition. Then, when you make the new edition, don't have it be the same thing as the last one with a very minor graphics update and a few new guns, or players switching teams. Bring something completely new to the franchise to the table.
